Matt Plaskoff is the spirited founder and president of Plaskoff Construction, a Southern California based leader in luxury custom home building, residential remodeling, and design-build construction. Matt’s passion for architecture and design, and his love of things timeless and beautiful, inspired him to create a construction company that provides the whole package, offering clients a one-stop place to turn their concept into reality. His constant striving to streamline the entire construction process and his dedication to total client satisfaction has earned the company its outstanding reputation and award winning success. Matt is also the owner of the very successful One Week Bath Company and has become somewhat of a celebrity due to his long-term affiliation as a consultant with ABC’s highly rated show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

In 2005, Matt established the Plaskoff Design Group with the goal of providing in-house architectural and interior design services all under one roof in order to offer clients the utmost in service. Matt believes strongly in his company’s design-build model, which enables a client to come to a single company and get everything they need – from design to construction to decorating – in order to build their dream house or remodeling project. Matt is dedicated to making himself and his staff available to his clients and to building close working relationships with each one. He gets excited about making people’s dreams come true by changing their living environment. His enthusiasm for his work and the integrity he embodies in the way he operates his business has led to some rewarding opportunities.

A native of Southern California, Matt earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He gained broad experience working in all facets of construction before starting his own company in 1988. Matt’s outside interests are focused on his family with his wife and three lovely daughters. Throughout his career, Matt has sponsored schools, educational initiatives, nonprofit organizations and charities. His commitment to helping those in need was exemplified when the Muscular Dystrophy Association honored him with the Humanitarian of the Year Award for his work on Extreme Makeover. Matt has received numerous other honors and professional awards and is a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association and the National Association of the Remodeling Industry.

Matt Armato has been with Plaskoff Design Group and Plaskoff Construction since 2005.  Matt’s key role is to coordinate the design build process guiding clients from the conceptual stage of design through construction completion.  Matt began his tenure with Plaskoff Construction in the estimating and production departments prior to assuming his role as design build manager.  Prior to coming to Plaskoff Construction Matt worked in real estate development, primarily specializing in Condo Conversion properties.  Prior to that Matt was the assistant Men’s Water Polo Coach at UCLA where he spent four seasons following his own athletic career at the University.  Matt’s appreciation for custom residential design and architecture lead to the career change and Matt’s interest in the home building industry. Matt received a Bachelors degree in Economic Geography and a minor in Business Administration from UCLA in 2000.
